Adventure Club Drop “Safe With Me” with Soar & Luma Off Upcoming ‘Love // Chaos’ Album [LISTEN]

Adventure Club have unleashed their highly-anticipated melodic dubstep collaboration with Soar and featuring Luma, “Safe With Me.”

Exhilarating synths dance throughout the euphoric production, along with a resonating kick-snare combo as the song’s lyrics celebrate inner peace and finding solace with a loved one. “Safe With Me” pulls at our heart strings, featuring orchestral elements and traces of future bass, revisiting previous Adventure Club soundscapes while also breaking new ground.

So far in 2021, Adventure Club have unleashed “Anywhere” with ARMNHMR and HALIENE, “You’ll Never Be Alone” with Kaivon, and now “Safe With Me,” with Soar and featuring Luma. Joining 2020 releases, “Already Know” with Said The Sky & Caly Bevier, “Rebellious” with Yuna, “Next Life” with Crankdat & Krewella, “Back to You” with Sara Diamond, and “High Like This” with Squired & Dia Frampton.

Out now on Ultra Records, “Safe With Me” continues this series of recent releases, all leading up to Adventure Club’s full album drop. Their sophomore album Love // Chaos is “right after Lost Lands,” according to a post from Leighton James in the group’s Superheroes Anonymous Facebook group. He also shared the tracklist which you can view below.

Watch RL Grime b2b Baauer Throw Down at HARD Summer 2021 [FULL SET]

RL Grime b2b Baauer was one of HARD Summer’s shining moments over the weekend — and the entire set is available to replay now!

The newly formed duo HÆRNY debuted their first release “Fallaway” just last week, which they opened with in an extended intro, much to the audience’s excitement. Their sizzling drum & bass tune set the tone for an impeccable performance, spanning over an hour long.

Blending former eras with new, the producers balanced crowd-pleasing throwback classics like RL Grime’s “Core” and Baauer’s “GoGo!” (Kiwie VIP) with recent offerings like RL Grime’s “Stinger” with ISOxo and plenty of insanity from Baauer’s sophomore album, PLANET’S MAD. And let’s not forget “Harlem Era Shake” (Benzi Edit).

Plus, music from Hudson Mohawke, Dillon Francis, JAWNS, Deadcrow, Hex Cougar & Heimanu, REMNANT.exe, Knock2, Y2K and more, with several cuts having been released on RL Grime’s own Sable Valley.

In part, this was a greatest hits set from both artists, with creative spins on RL Grime and Baauer selects sprinkled throughout — remixes, edits and IDs galore!

Dillon Francis Debuts Massive New IDs with Eptic & TV Noise at HARD Summer [WATCH]

HARD Summer was the hot spot for new music over the weekend and ideal testing grounds for ripe IDs.

This one from Dillon Francis and Eptic went off as one of many highlights, as the two debuted a brand new trap banger to a hyped up crowd. The two previously teamed up on “Let It Go” in 2019, but this time they’ve absolutely snapped.

Eptic confirms via the post below, “ME AND DILLON PREMIERED OUR NEW SONG AT HARD AAAAH”

In addition, Dillon threw down another unreleased festival treat with TV Noise, which served as the perfect opener. From the same minds that brought us “EDM O’CLOCK,” “Bawdy,” “3 Drops Who Cares,” and “Booty Bust” comes another massive collaboration.

San Holo Shares Melancholy, Acoustic Cover Of Alice Deejay’s Classic, “Better Off Alone”

We seriously need more San Holo acoustic covers of EDM classics. Last October, he shared a cover of Flux Pavilion’s “I Can’t Stop” in honor of the song’s 10 year anniversary, and yesterday he shared a cover of Alice Deejay’s classic, “Better Off Alone.”

The song was recorded and released as an instrumental in 1997, co-produced by Sebastiaan Moljin and Eelke Kalberg, who would later produce as Dash Berlin. The song eventually came to include vocals by Judith Pronk, who made the song what we know it as today, and was released on Alice’s debut album, Who Needs Guitars Anyway? in 2000.

San Holo’s beautifully layered vocals and somber guitar transform the song from an electronic/trance, dancefloor classic into a melancholy, sonderous ballad.

As I said before, we need more of these, or at least a full version of this cover. As I’ve been writing this, the song has been playing on repeat in the background and it’s simply wonderful. Listen below.

REPORT: New Martin Garrix Collab With G-Eazy & Sasha Sloan Incoming

Martin Garrix’s output in 2021 hasn’t been the most extravagant offering compared to other artists this year, but when you talk about “Pressure” with Tove Lo and a EURO anthem collaboration with Bono and The Edge of U2, we’re not complaining.

Still, new music is always appreciated by fans and he’s teasing something new on social media, and the names G-Eazy and Sasha Sloan are getting thrown around along with it.

The teaser he posted on his Instagram story is clearly a cover art for something — but as far as track title or, more importantly, release date, that’s yet to be discerned.

Keep an eye out for more info on this collaboration as we’re sure to hear about it soon!

Disco Donnie Presents & Upper Left Team Up To Bring Diplo’s Higher Ground Event To Seattle

Disco Donnie Presents (DDP) never fail to impress us with the shows they bring all over the United States. DDP (and their 16,000+ events) have helped to grow love for dance music immensely, showcasing an incredible array of talent and bringing in amazing local partners to put on what is always an unforgettable show for artists and fans alike.

DDP has been involved in the Pacific Northwest for some time, especially Portland, but up until recently, have not stepped foot in Seattle. The exit of USC Events (Paradiso) left a big question as to who would fill the shoes. Cue Seattle’s premiere company for producing some of the finest EDM events, Upper Left Live, led by CEO Sean Majors.

Sean is a true pioneer, held in high regard locally and nationally for the work he does in producing remarkable events. 2020 was a heartbreaking year for Majors in what he went through, but his spirit has remained strong. Here’s what Sean had to say in regards to the DDP partnership and life through the pandemic:

Truly heartfelt words, ending with a declaration that can’t help but give us back that excitement to be back at shows together. Now, with DDP & Upper Left coming together, it makes sense that their very first show is bringing the biggest DJ on the planet, Diplo, and his Higher Ground event to Seattle.

Joining Diplo will be a stacked lineup including Dom Dolla, Walker & Royce, VNSSA, LP Giobbi, and Subset. It’s safe to say that the entire city is buzzing with anticipation for August 15 for what will be the biggest event to happen in the Emerald City since Covid.

If you live in or will be around the area, make sure you get your ticket, because they are selling fast!

French Touch Legend SebastiAn Crafts Incredible Metallica Mashup, “Don’t Tread on Else Matters” [LISTEN]

SebastiAn stunned in 2019 with his newest album, Thirst. And now, after crafting the soundtrack for Saint Laurent’s women’s and men’s Spring/Summer soundtrack, he’s back with an incredible, unique, and official mashup for Metallica.

Blending two of the band’s most well known songs, “Don’t Tread On Me” and “Nothing Else Matters,” both from their 1991 self-titled album Metallica, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, SebastiAn blends funk and soul with his iconic French touch sound for an inimitable listening experience.

“Don’t Tread On Me” gets a funky and fresh, ’80s-style take from the French producer in the first half; then he really goes deep with “Nothing Else Matters,” incorporating flourishing classical instrumentation with an anthemic electronic production.

Check it out below!

Everyone is needing friendship and love and just this place to feel safe. That’s what I wanted to offer with Trilogy.
