Rich Furniss has been on a roll this year delivering amazing music, like his previous single “Suddenly” that has been heating up dance floors all over. Now, he’s back with another tight, disco house single “Get Down” that lives up to the name, driven by a tight groove and infectious piano stabs.
Cleverly incorporating himself as a character within the late 90’s / early 2000’s themed cover art, the production elements of the single embrace classic house, disco, and a piano rhythm that feels like it could have been imported from a Sega Genesis Sonic The Hedgehog cartridge. It’s a track that feels timeless in nature, and already has us excited to what he’s whipping up in the studio to follow.
Here’s what Rich Furniss had to say about it:
“This song was inspired by the video games that helped keep myself and many of my producer friends sane over the pandemic.”
